1. DEFINITION
The structure of modulated energy is the operational description of the organisation of energy variations through which the pattern is represented across the different domains of the chain.

Pattern and structure of modulated energy do not denote two competing theoretical objects. Total energy, average level or frequency response do not exhaust the structure. La struttura dell’energia modulata è la descrizione operativa dell’organizzazione delle variazioni energetiche attraverso cui il pattern viene rappresentato nei differenti domini della catena.

Pattern e struttura dell’energia modulata non indicano due oggetti teorici concorrenti. La quantità totale di energia, il livello medio o la risposta in frequenza non esauriscono la struttura. Relazioni temporali, spettrali, dinamiche, di fase, intercanale, spaziali e binaurali, statistiche e correlazionali, nonché dipendenti dalla storia, determinano come l’energia viene modulata, distribuita e resa disponibile. Rappresentazioni fisicamente differenti possono mantenere un isomorfismo strutturale sufficiente rispetto a tale organizzazione.
