DESIGN EXHIBITION
Claudio Chiappini
His systemic conception, articulated with technico-scientific rigour in the relationship between drawing and form–function: design as the expressive and foundational core of high-fidelity reproduction.
A vision in which forms, materials and technical principles become inseparable parts of a single structure, in which every element is conceived, stylised and traced within a continuous movement, according to a precise technical order from which creations emerge that, today more than ever, appear at once avant-garde and retro, postmodern and primordial, contemporary yet perpetually beyond time.
Linear forms and pure geometries alternate and combine in prismatic–pyramidal configurations, in which the technical structure, never concealed, asserts itself as a formal entity, revealing every constructional detail with crystalline clarity.
From this emerge vertically developed monolithic configurations, variously articulated, in which technical structure and formal expression neither overlap nor prevail over one another, but converge in a unified process integrating form, function and technico-scientific design.
A guided documentary journey through the projects and design studies historically associated with AURORA Electron Devices®, structured as a predetermined sequence of rooms in which design drawings and images reveal the transition from conception to material form, showing how form and function were integrated within a design approach aimed at maximising overall system performance.
